There are plenty of western restaurant in Kota Kinabalu. Whatever you crave for- Italian, Spanish, Pasta, Pizza, Steak etc.
Generally western restaurant serve more expensive food compared to restaurant serving local food ( malay, chinese, indian). However, today i am going to share you one of the " LOCAL" valuable western food restaurant in Kota Kinabalu to you guys - UPPER STAR .
It has a cozy environment, comfort, relax and rather unique because of installation of the desktop in most of the table.
The restaurant also serve alcohol with variety of draughts beers.
I visited with my hubby. Our food served on table about 10 minutes, it was pretty fast. The dishes we had as below: .....
The lamb were well marinated, fresh and good...

That time we ordered the above two items. About the taste, i would say it is nice based on the the price. I mean, with that price, we cannot expect something like those in DOME, or hotels. The taste is pretty much normal and average, but the price was reasonable and value able with the big portion serving and the environment! Just to be fair.
We were satisfied with the fabulous valuable lunch provided by Upper Star restaurant, and definitely will be back to try out their dishes!
They have two outlets in Kota Kinabalu, one at Suria sabah and another one at Damai, Luyang.
